Our History
Parker Brothers Well Drilling has been a long-standing, reputable company serving Pennsylvania and Ohio since 1945, providing expert well drilling, well repair, pump replacement, and water treatment services. In January of 2025, the company changed hands from the Parker family to another familiar face in the Shenango Valley Area – Tyler Yanak.
Tyler is a Hickory High School Graduate with an entrepreneurial drive that began even before his graduation with the creation of Yanak Excavating in 2011, a company that still thrives today as a quality, reliable provider of excavation and other landscaping services. He later went on to study Civil Construction Engineering at Youngstown State University while continuing to run operations for Yanak Excavating. In 2021, Tyler expanded his ventures by starting SLY Sewer, LLC. SLY Sewer provides septic tank and grease trap servicing and septic tank probing, as well as portable toilet rentals in the Mercer County, Trumbull County and surrounding areas. The purchase of Parker Bros comes after a longstanding professional relationship with the Parker family, with many years of purchasing supplies from and collaborating with Parker Bros between Tyler’s other business ventures. The assumption of the company was a goal that Tyler frequently vocalized to the Parker’s that ultimately came to fruition after years of friendly banter.
Moving forward, the vision for Parker Brothers Well Drilling is to not only maintain the quality water servicing that the area has come to expect from our company over the last 80 years, but to strive for constant improvement. Through the cohesion of Yanak’s existing businesses and Parker’s, the area can now enjoy the ease of a “one-stop shop” for both their water and sewer needs. Not only will the combination of service capabilities benefit Parker’s existing customers, but the advancement of services and technology used, such as geotechnical drilling, will make well drilling and servicing more efficient for our trusted customers now and in the future.
